Connecting Malta’s Start-up Ecosystem with Europe

Malta Venture Capital participated in the EU-Startups Summit, one of Europe’s leading events for entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators. As part of Malta’s national delegation, MVC joined several Government entities at a shared stand, showcasing Malta’s growing start-up ecosystem and engaging with international stakeholders.

Throughout the event, the team met with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners, exploring opportunities for collaboration and growth. These conversations provided valuable insights into emerging trends, investment opportunities, and the challenges facing early-stage businesses across Europe.

MVC also played an active role in the summit programme. The CEO of Malta Venture Capital, Miguel Borg, served as a judge during the start-up pitching competition, evaluating innovative business ideas from promising entrepreneurs. Additionally, MVC participated in the Reverse Pitching Session, where investors presented their investment approach, support mechanisms, and value proposition directly to start-ups seeking funding and strategic guidance.

The summit reinforced MVC’s commitment to supporting innovative businesses and strengthening Malta’s position within the European venture capital landscape.
